From the early 1970's to early 1980's, DANAC was a subsidiary of a large publicly held financial services organization that was acquired by the Continental Group (Continental Can Company) in 1977. In 1979, DANAC, as part of the Continental Group, was acquired by KMI, a private investment group. In July of 1986, DANAC became wholly owned by John F. Jaeger as its sole stockholder. Since his passing in 2020, John’s three sons have committed to continuing his legacy.
